GOOD NEWS FOR SCOTTISH STUDENTS LOOKING TO STUDY IN AMERICA

As part of an on-going review of immigration and the knock effect for tourism the US authorities are looking at a wide range of issues that will make the process of travelling to America easier.

During a recent press release US Consul General, John Caulfield pledged to end the current US Visa process that was introduced in 2004 as part of a general offensive on terrorism that forces students to travel to either London or Belfast.

Mr. Caulfield said “ We want to make it easier for Scots to obtain visas without the expense and trouble of having to travel hundred of miles. We already have been experimenting with a system of online application for groups who want to travel to America.  We are also looking at setting up web-stations where interviews can be done by web-cams.
